Terms of Use

Terms for using Information Session Manager

Effective August 19, 2026

These Terms of Use are an agreement between Information Session Manager and each person or organization that accesses or uses the service. By using the service, you agree to these terms.

1. The service

Information Session Manager provides tools for organizations to configure events, collect registrations, sell tickets, invite guests, deliver admission and Zoom links, check in attendees, monitor attendance, manage staff permissions, and close out events. Features may be added, changed, limited, or discontinued as the service develops.

2. Eligibility and authority

You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter this agreement. If you create, connect, or manage an organization, you represent that you are authorized to act for it. Organization Owners are responsible for choosing staff, assigning permissions, maintaining accurate information, and transferring ownership when necessary.

3. Access and security

Access may use email links or a supported identity provider. You must use an email or identity you control, protect your devices and access links, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. Do not share staff access, attempt to bypass permissions, or use another person’s identity. You are responsible for actions taken through access you control.

4. Organization and event responsibilities

Each organization is responsible for its event descriptions, prices, capacity, refund practices, attendee communications, venue safety, accessibility, licenses, taxes, and compliance with applicable laws. Organizations must obtain any notices or consents needed to collect attendee, guest, team, upline, payment, or Zoom participation information.

Information Session Manager is a software provider and is not the organizer, seller, employer, business opportunity, sponsor, or host of an organization’s event.

5. Fees, payments, and refunds

Current platform pricing is displayed before an organization enables paid registration. Paid tickets are processed through the organization’s connected Stripe account. Stripe fees, payout timing, reserves, disputes, and account requirements are governed by Stripe. The organization is responsible for communicating and applying its refund policy. Information Session Manager may collect disclosed application fees and may change future pricing with notice; changes do not retroactively change completed purchases.

6. Zoom and other services

Zoom, Stripe, WorkOS, email providers, and hosting providers are independent third-party services governed by their own terms. Their availability, account eligibility, licenses, fees, and behavior are outside Information Session Manager’s control. A Zoom Meeting or Webinar can be created only when the connected Zoom account supports the selected feature. You authorize the service to use the connected accounts only to perform requested event, registration, attendance, authentication, payment, and communication functions.

7. Acceptable use

You may not use the service to:

  • violate law, another person’s rights, or applicable platform rules;
  • mislead attendees about an event, price, refund, affiliation, or opportunity;
  • send spam, malware, deceptive links, or unauthorized marketing;
  • collect unnecessary sensitive information or expose admission, Zoom, payment, or access links improperly;
  • probe, disrupt, overload, scrape, reverse engineer, or bypass security or rate limits, except where law expressly permits;
  • resell or sublicense the service without written permission; or
  • upload content that is unlawful, infringing, abusive, or harmful.

8. Content and data

You retain rights in information and content you submit. You grant Information Session Manager a limited license to host, process, transmit, format, and display that material as necessary to provide, secure, support, and improve the service. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit it. Personal information is handled under the Privacy Policy.

9. Service availability and beta features

The service may include pilot, beta, synthetic, or preview features. Those features may be incomplete, change without notice, and should not be relied on for critical operations without an appropriate fallback. We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or loss-free operation. You should preserve records needed for legal, tax, or business purposes.

10. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service and may request organization deletion, subject to lawful retention and unresolved payment or support obligations. Information Session Manager may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary for security, nonpayment, abuse, legal compliance, third-party requirements, or a material violation of these terms. When practical, notice and an opportunity to correct the issue will be provided.

11. Intellectual property

The service, software, interface, documentation, and Information Session Manager name and branding are owned by Information Session Manager or its licensors. These terms give you only the limited right to use the service as provided; they do not transfer ownership.

12. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available.” Information Session Manager disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and noninfringement. Information Session Manager does not warrant event outcomes, attendee identity, admission-code exclusivity, Zoom participant matching, payment-provider decisions, or the accuracy of information supplied by users or third parties.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Information Session Manager will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business interruption. The aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the greater of the platform fees paid by the claimant during the six months before the event giving rise to the claim or US $100. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.

14. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, an organization agrees to defend and indemnify Information Session Manager from third-party claims arising from that organization’s events, content, pricing, attendee practices, permissions, legal violations, or breach of these terms, except to the extent caused by Information Session Manager’s own misconduct.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Colorado will have exclusive jurisdiction unless applicable law requires another forum. Before filing a claim, the parties will make a good-faith effort to resolve it through the support process.

16. Changes and general terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated when required, and continued use after the effective date means acceptance. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these terms without consent; Information Session Manager may assign them as part of a reorganization or transfer of the service.

17. Contact

Questions about these terms can be submitted through the Information Session Manager contact form.
